Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 2026
getinbox provides transactional email infrastructure. This policy governs how the service may be used. By using getinbox you agree to it. We may update it from time to time.
What getinbox is for
getinbox is for transactional and verification email that the recipient expects: account and sign-up confirmations, security and sign-in notifications, one-time codes for an account's own users, service and status updates, and replies within existing conversations. It is not a marketing, promotional, or bulk-email tool.
Prohibited use
You may not use getinbox to send or facilitate:
- Unsolicited email (spam), including bulk or marketing mail to recipients who did not ask for it.
- Email to purchased, rented, scraped, or harvested address lists.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, impersonation, spoofing, or fraud.
- Malware, viruses, or malicious links or attachments.
- Content that is illegal, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or that infringes others' rights.
- Anything that violates the AWS Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and similar regulations.
You also may not attempt to evade sending limits, suppression, or abuse controls, nor create or use accounts to circumvent enforcement.
How we keep sending clean
- Verified accounts: identity and payment verification before any account can send.
- Prepaid credits: sending is funded up front, so an account cannot send beyond what it has paid for.
- Rate limits and warmup: new senders start with low quotas and ramp gradually.
- Authentication: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on every sending domain.
- Suppression: bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes are suppressed automatically and never contacted again.
- One-click unsubscribe (RFC 8058) on eligible mail.
- Content scanning for spam, malware, and phishing before delivery.
- Reputation monitoring: accounts approaching bounce or complaint thresholds are paused automatically.
Recipients and consent
You may only send to recipients who expect your mail: your own users and account holders, and the services those users direct you to contact. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to email each recipient and for honoring opt-outs promptly.
Enforcement
We investigate reports and monitor sending. Violations may result in throttling, suspension, or termination, without notice where warranted. We cooperate with lawful requests and report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to abuse@getinbox.cc. We act on reports quickly. General questions: hello@getinbox.cc.
